Got a good deal this week on a nice little frame house about two miles from Pine Mills, and we had it moved out to my land in Pine Mills.

The move was not exactly smooth. The house rode so low that it almost bottomed out the truck on the way over. Then, on the last stretch, the truck could not make it up the hill on my land to where the house needed to sit.

So we brought in a dozer to push the truck up the hill. It took some doing, but we finally got the house in place.

Moving a good, solid frame house can be a smart way to put a home on a piece of country land, as long as you find the right house at the right price. Once we finish the remodel, this one should make a nice country home.
